The graphic protocol has per minute resolution. The software provides daily reports by accumulating received replies, which are displayed in a graphic or text format that can be printed or saved for archiving purposes. The list can contain more than a hundred hosts, of which up to seventy can be manually selected for observation through the main window of the program. The minimum interval between consecutive requests can be adjusted from 100milliseconds to 10 minutes. NetMap allows for the creation of a list of hosts to which requests are cyclically sent. The software is designed to wait for a response within 4 seconds by default. To achieve this, the program periodically sends requests similar to the ping program and checks for replies, indicating the activity of hosts and functioning of network connections. NetMap is a useful software that monitors hosts for accessibility via ICMP protocol.
